Privacy Policy

ScreenBubble is a screen recorder that runs entirely in your web browser. It is operated by Moonbyte Labs (“we”). This policy explains what data is and isn’t collected when you use the website or the Chrome extension.

Your recordings

Your screen, camera and microphone are never uploaded. Recording, mixing and encoding happen on your own device. The finished video exists only in your browser until you download it, and is discarded when you close or reload the page. We cannot see, access or recover your recordings.

Camera, microphone and screen permissions

The browser asks for your permission before the camera, microphone or screen can be used. These are only used while the recorder is open, and all devices are switched off when a recording ends.

Data stored on your device

To remember your choices, we store the following in your browser’s local storage: recorder settings (camera position, size, devices, theme), how many free recordings you have used and when, and your license key if you bought a plan. This data stays on your device; you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. When you pay, Razorpay collects the details needed to complete the payment (such as your email, phone number and payment method) under Razorpay’s privacy policy. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

Our small payment server (hosted on Cloudflare) receives your order and payment IDs to confirm the payment and create your license key. If you use “Lost your key?”, it receives your payment ID and the email or phone you enter, only to check them against Razorpay’s record of that payment. We do not keep a database of customers.

Analytics, ads and tracking

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

ScreenBubble is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
